Drs. Alex Cassinelli, Shiva Shanker and Paul Biddle.

Each of our doctors is a highly trained specialist in the field of Orthodontics and Dento-Facial Orthopedics. Through a combination of education, training, ongoing continuing education and years of professional experience, our doctors are experts in their field.

What is Orthodontics? Orthodontics is dentistry's oldest recognized specialty. Most orthodontic specialty programs require three years of additional education after dental school, and include academic and clinical training. Only after completing a formal Orthodontic Residency Training program can a dentist formally declare themselves to be an Orthodontist. All of our doctors are members of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), an organization of roughly 15,500 orthodontists in the United States, Canada and abroad.

In addition to being members of the AAO, Drs. Cassinelli and Shanker are also board certified as Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontists, a designation which only about half of all orthodontists hold. Involvement in the certification process is a demonstration of our doctors' pursuit of continued proficiency and excellence.

Our office employs cutting edge titanium orthodontic wires, advanced self ligating braces, clear ceramic braces, Invisalign, and orthopedic treatments for proper jaw growth, along with the latest in computer technology to ensure that our patients receive the most effective and efficient care possible.
