Dr. Alex Cassinelli

Dr. Alex Cassinelli is a board certified specialist with more than 10 years of experience as an orthodontic specialist in the Cincinnati area. A Cincinnati native he graduated from St. Xavier high school and was pleased to return with his wife Tracy to their home turf to start a family of their own. Their 3 young children keep them on the run outside of the office.

Dr. Cassinelli received his dental degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and then completed a one year general practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. He then completed three years of post-graduate orthodontic residency at the Ohio State University College of Dentistry, which included publication of original research, and a Master of Science degree.

Dr. Cassinelli attained the status of the Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2005. He has been named as a top Dentist in Cincinnati Magazine's February 2009 and 2010 issues, an honor bestowed upon him following a survey of professional dental colleagues.

Dr. Shiv Shanker is a board certified specialist with more than 10 years of experience as an orthodontic specialist. Dr. Shanker is originally from India, graduated from high school in the United Kingdom while there with his family as his father received advanced medical training as a surgeon. He and his wife Sharmini moved to the Cincinnati area after having lived in Columbus Ohio for more that 15 years. The Shankers also have 3 young children and live in the Mason area. 

Dr. Shiva Shanker joined is an experienced orthodontic clinician and educator. Dr. Shanker completed his BDS and MDS in Orthodontics from the University of Madras, India. He then completed his MS in Orthodontics from The Ohio State University as well as a two year research fellowship. His DDS (the US analog to his MDS from India) was obtained at Ohio State. He joined the faculty at The OSU College of Dentistry in 1997 and served as the Director of the Graduate Orthodontic Program and the Co-Director of the inter-disciplinary Dento-Facial Deformity Program at OSU. Dr. Shanker also maintained a private practice in Columbus.

Dr. Shanker attained the status of the Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics in 2003.  Dr. Shanker will maintain a one day a week affiliation with OSU as Co-Director of the Dento-Facial Deformity Program.  He is a respected national and international speaker and has multiple publications to his credit, and serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.

Dr. Paul Biddle is a respected orthodontic specialist with more than 25 years of providing excellent orthodontic care in the Cincinnati area.

An educator as well as a clinician, Dr. Biddle has taught orthodontics at the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry. He also served as co-director of orthodontic training for pediatric dental residents at Children's Hospital Medical Center.

Dr. Biddle graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry and then spent three years as a dental officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. After his service, he returned to the University of Kentucky for two years of post-graduate orthodontic training. He's been in private practice since 1973.
