We are always excited about meeting new patients during their first visit to our office. Don't be nervous, our purpose and goal is to give you the best smile possible! Our office typically* uses a series of three appointments to evaluate your orthodontic condition and develop a treatment plan: Initial Appointment

Appointment If treatment is recommended at the initial or recall appointment, a more detailed examination will be necessary. At the record appointment, the doctors and staff will collect a complete medical/dental history, take digital photographs of the face and teeth, take impressions (models) of the teeth, and may either take a Panoramic radiograph, Cephalometric radiograph, or both. The sum total of all of this information comprises what is known as comprehensive orthodontic diagnostic records. |

Consultation
Appointment The treatment plan, including the length of time and the cost, will be fully discussed. The Practice Administrator will help you develop a payment schedule and will be glad to assist you with filing insurance forms. If jaw surgery is necessary for the orthodontic correction, the doctors will refer you to an oral surgeon and will work closely with the surgeon during that phase of the treatment. Other dental specialists may also be implored to assist in your comprehensive care. |
